The Jordan Adams Racing team was back in normal action this past Friday night. The team traveled to River Cities Speedway for Track Championship night. 27 cars were checked in all in pursuit for the championship trophy. Heat races were lined up by current point standings, so Jordan would line up on the outside of the front row in heat three. As the green flag flew, pole sitter Casey Mack ran the bottom with Jordan chasing on the cushion. Coming out of turn one Jordan snatched the lead and and led every lap en route to his first heat race win at the legendary bullring. The feature was lined straight up from the heat race results. Jordan would start inside row two alongside Austin Pierce. At the drop of the green flag, Mark Dobmeier took the lead with Jordan surging into second. A caution flag on lap four lined the field up nose to tail. Again, Dobmeier took control with Jordan following. On lap 8, Austin Pierce and Wade Nygaard both slid past Jordan battling through lap traffic. On the following lap, the 20A sprinter flew over the banking coming into turn three nullifying a possible top five finish. Leader Mark Dobmeier had lapped up to 12th place. Jordan would restart 11th and battle back to earn an 8th place finish. "Our car was super fast all night. My crew had the car perfect, unfortunately i messed up at a big point in the race costing us a good finish," mentioned Jordan Jordan would also like to recognize the track prep crew as the track has certainly been racey the past few weeks with three wide action all over the track.
