The Jordan Adams Racing team was in action at the Devils Lake Speedway in Crary, North Dakota this past Saturday night with the NOSA (Northern Outlaw Sprint Association) sprint cars. 30 sprint cars were checked in for battle. Jordan would start 7th in his heat race and come home 5th after a rocky start. Jordan commented, "I'm not too sure what happened on the start. I got sideways in the corner and nearly took out the tractor tire. By the time I got up to speed I was a half straightaway back on the field." This would transfer Jordan into the feature starting 15th. Jordan quickly starting going through the field and was up to 9th a few laps in. After many cautions, Jordan had fought up to 7th place with a green-white-checker to follow. Unfortunately, a five car pileup in turn four involved Jordan coming to the checkered flag. This took out the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th place runners as well as another. Jordan commented, "We ran a great twenty four and three quarter laps and unfortunately we have nothing to show for. This is one that definitely stings coming from the back to what looked like to be a strong finish. I thought I had him cleared, but he slid back down the track and I just caught his right rear tire and that's all it took. Were just going to have to get back in the saddle this week and give it all we have to get back in contention for a points championship." Jordan would end up finishing in the 21st position. Jordan would like to extend his thanks out to his partners for the 2015 season. He would also like to thank his crew and his family.

The Jordan Adams Racing team had two stops on their calendar this past weekend. The first stop was on Friday at River Cities Speedway. 29 sprint cars were checked in for battle at the bullring. Jordan was scheduled to start 5th in his heat race. When things were all said and done, Jordan finished 2nd advancing him into the feature. This lined the Home of Economy 20A up on the outside of row 3. When the green flag flew, Jordan began to slide backwards slowly. At one point, the 19 year old Reynolds driver slipped back to the 10th position. As the race went on, Jordan fought back and salvaged a 6th place finish on a track that took rubber. The team then took to Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, MN on Sunday. 27 cars were checked in and ready to do battle on the narrow track. Jordan drew a 79 which would line him up to start on the inside of row 3. By lap 2, Jordan claimed the lead coming off of turn 2 and led until lap 7. Wade Nygaard, the feature winner on the night, passed Jordan on the outside with three to go. This led to lining the 20A up outside row 3 for the feature event. Jordan worked his way to 4th place before avoiding a wreck that took out the 2nd and 3rd place contenders. This lined Jordan up 2nd for the restart. However, Jordan could not make a move around the leader 6n of Nikitenko. As laps went on, Jordan began to fade and slipped back to 5th place where he would end up finishing for his second top 5 of the young season. "This weekend was pretty solid overall," said Jordan. "We had a fast car both Friday and Sunday, we were just a little off of where we needed to be. I think we had a better car then what our final result was for Sunday, but we had a fuel filter problem that costed us some speed in the final ten laps. We will regroup this week and be ready for the double header next weekend." Jordan would like to thank all his partners for the 2015 season. Check them out under the "Partners" category. The Jordan Adams Racing team was back in action on Friday, May 15th at the bullring in Grand Forks, North Dakota. After a week of soggy conditions, it didn't look like there was going to be any racing Friday at River Cities Speedway. However, mother nature turned her ways around just in time for the track crew to get the pits and track in shape for racing. Thirty two sprint cars were checked in for battle. The 20A was scheduled to line up outside row two in a nine car heat race. After battling with a tight race car, Jordan came home in 5th place advancing to the feature. Jordan started 17th in the feature and maneuvered his was through the ruts and traffic to come home 5th securing his first top five of 2015. Jordan commented, "It was a rough but fun track. Our car was really good from the beginning, but I took it easy fearing there would be a few wrecks with the track conditions in the opening laps. Hopefully we can start improving in the heat races so we don't have to keep climbing through the field in the feature. Overall it was a good weekend and I'm looking forward to a two race weekend next weekend." Jordan would also like to give props to the RCS track crew for holding out and getting the pits and track ready to race after the long week of rain. Next up on the schedule is River Cities Speedway on Friday, May 22nd followed by the first out of town Northern Outlaw Sprint Association race at Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, Minnesota on Sunday, May 24th. The Adams Racing team had different expectations heading into the season opener at River Cities Speedway on Friday. However, the night started out rough drawing a 176 lining the 20A Home of Economy 410 sprint up in the fourth row of the heat race. Before the first lap was completed, Jordan was competing for the 4th spot. A car spun out in front of him and he simply had no where to go. Jordan commented, "It was a really unfortunate way to start our season. For how the track was, the car felt really good." This moved the 20A to the b main advancing the top six into the feature. Jordan started 9th and maneuvered his way to a 4th place finish with no brakes. Jordan said, "That was a handful. I kept telling myself i just needed to keep hanging on for a couple more laps." The team made adjustments and started the feature from the 22nd position. The red flag flew a few laps in, and Jordan was scored In the 15th position on a dry track that eventually took rubber. As the race progressed, Jordan fought up to the 9th position to clinch his first top ten of the season. Asking Jordan about what he thought on the finish he commented,"Given the circumstances, it feels pretty good to walk away with a top ten finish. I was extremely happy with my crew. They worked their tails off to get the car ready for the b main. We will repair this week and throw it all back on the line next week." Jordan would like to thank all his partners for the 2015 season. Please go view his partners in the "Partners" category. REYNOLDS, ND-May 1st, 2015
