The Jordan Adams Racing team had one goal going into this past Friday night. They wanted to be two positions better then the previous week when the checkered flag was waving. However, the stars did not all align and a tough night was completed. 29 cars were ready to take on the Legendary Bullring, River Cities Speedway. Jordan would start 8th in his heat race and finish 7th. Missing the transfer spot by one, Jordan would have to run the B main. Jordan started from the pole in the B main and won it lining him up 19th for the A main. At the start of the feature, Jordan worked the low side of the track and picked off a couple positions. With three laps in, Jordan was up to 15th when the caution flag flew. On the ensuing start, Jordan would try and make something happen on the top, middle, and bottom but could not get around the cars that were in front of him. Jordan brought the car home in 15th, respectively. "It was just a tough night of racing. Its part of the sport, it's going to happen at some point or another. Our car was fast in the feature there was just nowhere to go. I've said it all year I need to start doing better in the heats to give us a chance in the feature. We've been starting around 10th to 16th and on a track like this with the competition as stiff as it is that's tough to be a contender for the win at the end of a race. We will come back this week with nothing but looking forward," Jordan commented. Jordan would like to thank all his partners for the 2015 season. Please go view them in the "Partners" category. Jordan would also like to thank his crew for their continued work week in and week out. This week Jordan will be racing at River Cities Speedway on Friday night.

The Jordan Adams Racing team was back in action this holiday weekend with a doubleheader on the line. First, the team traveled to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota. 29 cars were checked in and ready to take on the Legendary Bullring. Jordan would start 8th in his heat race with the top 6 transferring into the A-main. Jordan worked his way up to 5th place coming to the white flag. Coming out of turn 4, Jordan snatched the 4th position away ensuring him a position in the main event. "The track was very fast, as well as our heat race driver wise. I knew I had my work cut out for me when seeing the lineup. Walking away with a 4th felt pretty decent considering the competition and our start/finish position," said Jordan. This put the #20A Home of Economy Outlaw Sprint Car in the 5th row for the feature. Starting 10th, Jordan slowly worked his way up to 7th on a track that was still fairly tacky. A restart upcoming with 6 to go hindered a possible shot at a top 5 with Jordan falling two spots after a poor restart. "I didn't get the best restart and fell back a few spots. 9th place isn't anything to hang our heads about, Our car was decent, but the track stayed fast and narrow not providing much of an opportunity to pass", Jordan mentioned. The team then traveled to Greenbush, Minnesota on Saturday with high expectations after winning this race a year ago. 22 cars were checked in and ready for battle. Jordan would start 2nd in his heat race and finish 3rd. Jordan commented, "The track was pretty hit and miss. It was tacky in 1 and 2 and really dry in 3 and 4. Unfortunately, I dropped a spot about halfway through which really hurt us for the feature lineup." Jordan would start the feature from position 11. Once the green flag dropped, Jordan was quickly on the move getting to 9th just a few laps in when the first caution flag flew. The track took rubber which created little to no opportunity to pass unless of a driver error. Jordan would come home 8th. "We figured the track would take rubber, we just weren't sure when it would so it was important to get all I could at the start and after cautions. Unfortunately, the rubber was full blown within the first five laps." Jordan has now quietly moved up into 3rd place in River Cities Speedway points just 31 points back from the lead. Jordan sits 4th in NOSA points. This weekend will be another doubleheader as the team heads to River Cities Speedway Friday and Devils Lake Speedway Saturday. |
