By Spieker Promotions REYNOLDS, N.D. (August 2, 2018) – Jordan Adams made his first-ever trip to Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, N.D with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints for the N.D. Governor’s Cup. The weekend featured two nights at the high-banked three-eighths mile clay oval. On the first night of action on Friday, a fourth place finish in the heat put Adams back in 19th for the 25-lap main event. Adams got up on the wheel and began moving his way forward at the drop of the green flag.
The driver of the Home of Economy / DEKALB No. 20A made it up to 12th, which is where he took the checkers. Saturday was a different story for Adams. After charging from eighth to third in his heat, Adams lined up in the fourth position for the feature. Adams raced inside the top five all race long, making it to as high as third in the closing laps, but settled in the fourth position at the finish. “Friday night we struggled. We made some changes come Saturday and it was a whole different story,” said Adams. “Overall I would say it was a decent weekend.” This weekend, Adams will follow the NOSA Sprints to River Cities Speedway on Friday and Devils Lake Speedway on Saturday. “I’m looking forward to getting back to Grand Forks and seeing if we can get two spots better from our last appearance,” said Adams of his third place finish last Friday night. Adams has a best finish of fourth at Devils Lake thus far in 2018.
