REYNOLDS, N.D. (September 20, 2018) – Night in and night out on the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Car tour, Jordan Adams was one of the most consistent drivers. The driver of the Home of Economy / DEKALB No. 20A didn’t light up the stat sheet with wins, but routinely clicked off top fives and top 10s all season long.
Despite missing a couple races in July due to engine troubles, Adams rallied back to collect third place finishes in both the NOSA and River Cities Speedway point standings. The results are both career bests for Adams, who previously finished as high as fourth in the NOSA standings and fifth in the River Cities standings in 2016.
“Getting third in River Cities Speedway points and third in NOSA is nothing to be disappointed about,” said Adams. “Obviously, we want to win, but staying consistent got us to that point. I’m excited to get building for whatever 2019 has in store.”
The 2018 season finale was last Friday night at River Cities Speedway. The night was highlighted by double features, which included the August 31st make-up feature as well as the regularly scheduled program.
In the regularly scheduled event, Adams showed some speed as he charged from 13th to his 13th top-five finish of the season. In the make-up feature, Adams maintained his eighth starting position after developing a mechanical failure during the race. A bad left rear shock made the car a handful on the fast and tacky racing surface, but Adams still held on to finish eighth.
Jordan Adams and the entire crew would like to thank each and every one of their partners for their continued support!
