REYNOLDS, ND-August 26th, 2015
The Jordan Adams Racing team had a busy weekend this past weekend racing with the top tier organization. The World of Outlaws were in town and ready to take on the locals and tackle the bullring. 32 cars were checked in. Jordan drew a 3 and would eventually be the first car to qualify. Jordan's quickest lap was a 10.799, good enough for 16th quick. Donny Schatz set quick time with a lap of 10.398. Jordan would hit the inversion and start on the pole of his heat race. Three laps in, the yellow flag flew with Jordan in 4th. On the ensuing restart, Jordan would fall back to the 6th position which is where he would finish missing the transfer by one spot. This lined the 20A car up on the inside of row three for the b main with the top four transferring to the feature. Unfortunately, pushing off for the b main the drive shaft broke ending Jordan's night before the race even began. "The night started off promising and i felt like we had a really good chance at making the feature," said Jordan. "It just wasn't meant to be." The team was scheduled to compete in Greenbush, Minnesota on Saturday with NOSA, but mother nature won that battle. Sunday brought a new day and another chance to take on the Outlaws. 28 cars were checked in ready to battle at the Magic City. Jordan would qualify 23rd out of 28 after only getting one lap at half speed as the fuel lines were loose. This lined Jordan up to start 8th in the heat race with the top 6th advancing to the feature. Jordan would go on to finish 7th. Jordan would start 5th in the b main and win it advancing him into the feature starting 21st. Jordan would work his way up to 14th, but would cross the checkers in 16th. "It was somewhat of a relief to have the car run good in the b main and win it. It felt like we were battling car problems all weekend," Jordan stated. This weekend the team will be in action at River Cities Speedway on Friday night for the Track Championship night.
