By Spieker Promotions REYNOLDS, N.D. (May 20, 2021) – The Jordan Adams 20A team continued the 2021 campaign last week with three races with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints in Southern Minnesota and South Dakota, highlighted by a top-10 run at the series debut at I-90 Speedway on Saturday night. First up was Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, MN on Friday night. Adams transferred to the main event by finishing as the runner-up in the B Main, but brake problems ended his night early as he worked his way forward in the main event.
On Saturday, The Adams family continued west to I-90 Speedway in Hartford, SD for the second visit for the NOSA Sprints on the weekend. Adams won the B Main to highlight his qualifying runs while the crew fought to repair a steering gear issue throughout the night. Adams started deep in the field in the 24-car, 25-lap feature, but made gains throughout the event, improving a spot a lap in each of the first five circuits. While bouncing between 13th and 15th during the mid portion of the race, Adams put on a late charge charging to 12th on lap 22. He made his way to ninth with two laps left, scoring his second top-10 of the season. Adams then returned to Huset's Speedway in Brandon, SD for the second consecutive week, improving from sixth to third in his heat race, transferring directly to the main event. Adams was well inside the top-10 early, running as high as eighth on lap seven, coming home just outside the top-10 in the 11th position. This week, the Adams Racing crew will return home to River Cities on Friday night. "Our weekend overall was progressive," Adams said after the three day weekend. "I felt every single time we hit the track each night we got better and better, and I'm looking forward to getting back home tomorrow and getting back to work."
