Adams Looks Forward to NOSA Double-Header at the Seitz Memorial!

By Mike Spieker

REYNOLDS, ND (September 7, 2016) - One of the beauties about Sprint Car racing is the fact that if you have a couple bad nights, you only have to wait a few days before you can forget about it and go racing again.
PictureJordan will be racing the special gold paint scheme on Saturday night at Badlands Motor Speedway.
Last weekend Jordan Adams and the American Crystal Sugar/ Nettum Seeds team didn’t have the best finishes, but still managed to score a strong fifth place run at Greenbush Race Park on Saturday. After finishing 12th the previous night at River Cities Speedway, Adams charged from eighth to collect his sixth top five of the season.

The Home of Economy/U of M - Crookston crew wrapped up the weekend Sunday night at Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, MN. Jordan has a best finish of second at BRRP, recorded in July of 2015, and looked to duplicate that effort in NOSA’s final visit of the season to the semi-banked quarter-mile.

Jordan took home a third place finish in the heat, which lined him up back in 10th for the 25-lap Buffalo Wild Wings main event. Threatening weather didn’t allow the BRRP track crew to till up the racing surface before the feature, which resulted in the track taking rubber shortly after the green flag flew. With not much passing taking place, Jordan was forced to take the checkers in 12th.

However, Jordan is still in a qualifying position for the $8,200 Blazin’ Back Row Challenge race scheduled for Friday, September 9th at River Cities Speedway, but first he has to get through one more qualifying night.

“It's all coming down to Thursday,” said Jordan. “As of right now, we're in but it is close all the way back to 10th place. The format is exciting for the drivers and the fans as well. Thursday we need to have a good night to lock ourselves in for the big show Friday.”

Thursday and Friday night will both be complete shows for the NOSA Sprints, including a dash on Friday night for the eight drivers qualified for the Blazin’ Back Row Challenge.

Following the two races at River Cities, the #20A will hit the road for season championship night at Badlands Motor Speedway.
