By Spieker Promotions REYNOLDS, N.D. (August 18, 2017) – After taking last weekend off to take in the 57th annual Knoxville Nationals, the Jordan Adams Racing team is ready to get back to the track this weekend. The team will have to be firing on all cylinders right at the get go starting tonight as the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars invade their home track, River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. “It was a nice week off,” said Jordan. “But I am looking forward to getting back to action tomorrow against the best in the business. We will need to be on our ‘A’ game.”
Jordan says preparation is key when the “Greatest Show on Dirt” comes to town. Everything on the car has to be perfect in order to have a decent night. “(The World of Outlaw races) are a little more intense,” he said. “It's more time in the shop just making sure everything looks right and making sure your prepared. The qualifying is such a big key to your night that it's so much pressure. You just need to put down the best lap you can and hang on.” When the World of Outlaws last visited River Cities in June, Jordan was the second-highest finishing NOSA regular in the A-main. With the momentum of four top five finishes at River Cities Speedway in the last five races on his side, Jordan will be looking for another strong performance tonight. The Home of Economy / Amity Technology team will also be in action Saturday with the World of Outlaws at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo. Jordan has one previous start at the semi-banked three-eighths mile oval in 2017, which was a 12th place effort on July 17th with the NOSA Sprints.
