Four-Race Weekend Ahead for Jordan Adams Racing REYNOLDS, ND (June 15) - After a hot and grueling two-race weekend, the Jordan Adams Racing team will hit the road again this weekend with four races on the schedule, starting tonight at Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids, MN with the World of Outlaw Craftsman Sprint Cars. Jordan made his debut at Granite City Speedway last year with the World of Outlaws and put on a strong showing in his Home of Economy #20A. After picking up the win in the last chance showdown, Jordan made a charge in the A-main that placed him 17th at the conclusion of the 30-lapper.
Adams will also be running with the “Greatest show on dirt” Friday night at River Cities Speedway and Sunday evening at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, SD. “We just try to treat [World of Outlaws events] like any other race,” said Jordan. “We are in the shop every night getting the car ready. Our ultimate goal would be to make every show and get some experience running with the best drivers in the country.” Weekend in Review: Last Friday night Jordan finished 9th at River Cities Speedway in what was the fastest feature ever ran at the 3/10th mile bullring. The racing surface was tacky and rough and made for an exciting race. “The track we had Friday was one of those tracks I actually prefer,” continued Jordan. “It was a track where the setup wasn't too much of a factor. It was more of a driver’s race. We like to call those the ‘saddle up and hang on’ rodeo tracks.” The driver of the Reynolds United Co-op machine advanced seven positions over the course of the 25 laps and picked up another top-ten finish in the process. “We had a great car at the end of the race and were picking cars off quickly. I fell back to 16th on the start and rebounded to 9th without a yellow. We ran our quickest lap of the race on lap 20 which was a top five lap time where most of the other front runners ran their quickest laps in the first 5 laps. We were definitely there, but a caution would have been nice.” Saturday night the team made the trek down to Brandon, SD for the NOSA-supported Buffalo Wild Wings Stampede event at Badlands Motor Speedway. Twenty-eight of the upper Midwest’s best 410 Sprint Car drivers were in attendance and Jordan began the night timing in 21st quick. From there the 20 year-old Reynolds, ND driver finished fourth in the B-main, which transferred him into the 25-lap A-main. After starting 19th, Jordan took the checkers in 16th and gained some valuable seat time at a track he hasn’t seen a whole lot of action at. Upcoming Events: June 15 - Granite City Speedway - World of Outlaws June 17 - River Cities Speedway - World of Outlaws June 18 - Badlands Motor Speedway June 19 - Brown County Speedway - World of Outlaws
