By Spieker Promotions REYNOLDS, N.D. (April 24, 2019) – Jordan Adams and his Home of Economy team is off and running with the 2019 racing season. Adams made his season debut at Beaver Dam Raceway in Wisconsin with the IRA Sprints. Mechanical issues plagued Adams early in the night during hot laps and time trials, but the team was able to make repairs for the main event.
“I think we found a majority of our problems if that is a positive. By the time we were finished up getting things fixed up, we didn’t have much time to change our setup so we just threw tires on and away we went,” said Adams. “It felt good to get back in the car, but it was really unfortunate with the gremlins we had.” After battling fuel issues and a power steering leak, Adams lined up 23rd on the grid for the feature. Adams was able to move up a few positions and took the checkers in 20th after 30 clean laps around the one-third mile oval. “I think I feel more determined after last week which is a good thing,” said Adams. “After nights like those, sometimes it’s like why do we do this? But I can’t wait to get back out and do better whenever the green flag flies at River Cities.” River Cities Speedway’s tentative 2019 season opener is Friday, May 3rd, with racing beginning at 7:00 p.m. Adams and the entire No. 20A team would like to thank all of their sponsors for their continued support!
