By Spieker Promotions REYNOLDS, N.D. (May 22, 2019) – The 2019 racing season is finally underway for both the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints and River Cities Speedway. Racing kicked off last Friday night and Jordan Adams proved he was ready for the season to start. Adams dominated the opening Sprint Car heat race as he started on the pole and picked up the win by nearly three and one-half seconds.
“The heat race went very well,” said Adams. “Usually, we struggle on those slick tracks so to get a checkered flag in convincing fashion felt good to kick off the year.” The redraw put Adams on the inside of row two for the 25-lap feature. When the green flag flew, Adams immediately moved up to the second spot behind Mark Dobmeier. “The feature was okay. We were running second for a while and had a terrible restart where we fell back aways,” said Adams. “We were probably lucky to get back to fourth, but in the big picture of things, it’s a top five to start the year on a track condition we usually aren’t the best on. It was a good confidence booster after making some offseason team adjustments.” This weekend, Adams will head back to the Grand Forks bullring on Friday night before following the NOSA Sprints to Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, Minn. on Sunday. This weekend will be the first of two NOSA events at the tight and tricky quarter-mile. The series will head back to Glyndon on Sunday, September 1st during the track’s Corn Cob Nationals event. Last year at Buffalo River, Adams came home with a solid fifth place finish. Jordan and the entire 20A team would like to thanks all of their partners for their continued support!
