By Spieker Promotions GRAND FORKS, N.D. (May 24, 2017) – Jordan Adams and the Home of Economy/Amity Technology team were back at the bullring Friday. Adams battled his way forward in the feature to record his second top five finish of the young 2017 season. Jordan began the night by driving to a solid run in his heat race. After starting seventh, Jordan passed three cars in the final four laps to take the checkers in the fourth position.
The Reynolds, N.D. driver lined up 10th on the 26-car starting grid. Early on, Jordan slipped back in the running order, before making a run near the midpoint of the race. From lap 10 to lap 15, Jordan made his way from 12th to ninth. Jordan ran in that position until Bobby Martin got upside down on the final lap, which bumped the No. 20A up to the eighth spot at the checkers. “The night was okay overall,” said Jordan. “It was one of those nights I'm not sure we deserved to finish 8th, but will surely take it. Sometimes you will have those nights.” This week the Jordan Adams Racing crew is going over every nut and bolt on their machine to make sure it’s all set for the upcoming event at River Cities Speedway. “We are hitting the shop making sure everything is ready to go Friday,” continued Jordan. “The top five’s are coming. We are still knocking a little rust off but I am not worried.” Up Next: May 26th: River Cities Speedway – Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints Season Stats: Races: 4 Wins: 0 Top Fives: 1 Top Tens: 2 Heat Wins: 0
