REYNOLDS, N.D. (June 6, 2018) – Jordan Adams and the Home of Economy / DEKALB racing team have a big two-race weekend lined up with the Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints. Adams will be competing at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks on Friday night, before heading to Jamestown Speedway on Saturday.
Friday night’s event will serve as the final tune up at the Bullring before the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series comes to River Cities. Last Friday night, Adams picked up his third top 10 finish in as many nights at the high-banked three-tenths mile oval.
“We tried something new Friday in the heat race and the feature,” said Adams. “The track stayed around a little more than we thought it would. We were just too tight to make it work.”
Adams moved from 12th to finish eighth in the 25-lap feature for his sixth overall top 10.
Jamestown Speedway is the site of Adams’ most recent feature win. Adams held off late-race challenges by Wade Nygaard and Austin Pierce to pick up his second career victory at the tight high-banked quarter-mile.
Coming into the weekend, Adams looks to backup last year’s performance and visit victory lane once again.
“It's been circled on the calendar since last year,” he said. “I would say there's some confidence going back there, but every night is a new night at the race track. You never really know what is going to happen. It would be awesome to do it again though.”
Green flag drops at 7pm both nights.
