(August 22, 2019) – The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprints return to River Cities Speedway on Friday night for the first points-paying show at the speedway since August 2nd. Coming into Friday’s action, Jordan Adams sits third in the River Cities Speedway standings, just 23 points out of the lead. Adams’ consistency throughout the season has put him in contention for the 2019 track points title. The driver of the Home of Economy No. 20A has tallied eight top 10s in 10 starts, including two top five finishes.
“We haven’t been watching points much this year. What I do know is we aren’t winning points, so we have room to improve so we will keep working towards being better,” said Adams. Friday’s event at the Bullring is the only one on tap this weekend for the NOSA Sprints. Just four Sprint Car events remain on the season schedule at River Cities. Last Friday night, the World of Outlaws made their final visit of the season to River Cities. Overall, Adams was strong all night but came up one spot shy of grabbing a transfer spot in the Last Chance Showdown. “Last Friday we were just off and that’s just how it goes sometimes,” he said. “We are sure looking forward to being back at the track.” NOSA hot laps start at 6:30pm tomorrow night at River Cities Speedway with time trials to follow.
