REYNOLDS, N.D. (August 2, 2019) - The Buffalo Wild Wings NOSA Sprint Cars took on Dacotah Speedway this past weekend in Mandan, N.D. for the Governor’s Cup. Jordan Adams and the DEKALB Asgrow Seed / SESVanderHave USA No. 20A team made the pull and had a successful weekend.
“Mandan went pretty well. The racing surface both nights was phenomenal. Big props to Dacotah Speedway for taking the time to give us a racing surface that put on two awesome nights of racing. We had a pretty good race car both nights and stayed pretty consistent.”

Adams unloaded Friday night and started sixth in his heat but moved forward to finish third. Following the heats, the redraw put Adams on the pole for the feature. Unfortunately, Adams lost his brakes during the race but was still able to hold on to fifth when he crossed the checkers.

“Friday we were up around third but lost the brakes with six to go so it kind of got to be a handful on the bottom of the track from there.”

The second night, Jordan’s heat results were the exact same; he started sixth and moved up to third. This time, the redraw put him on the outside of the front row. Jordan raced to his 11th top 10 run of the season, coming home in sixth.

“All in all we were happy with the weekend but are on to the next chapter and focused on River Cities tonight.”

Adams goes into the night fourth in River Cities Speedway points, 17 markers behind leader, Austin Pierce.

“We have been strong at RCS the last few races but haven’t finished where I think we have deserved to. We will use that as some fuel to the fire and hope for a great night tonight.”

Green flag drops at 7 p.m with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and qualifying to follow.

Jordan and the entire 20A team would like to thank all of their partners for their continued support!
